On 23 March 2024, a temporal anomaly was detected in Sector-8. Upon arrival, Agent-173 discovered a distortion field measuring approximately 4.5 meters in diameter. Initial readings indicated a rapid decay of local temporal energy, causing localized time skips.

The anomaly stabilized after three hours, leaving behind a series of visual echoes. The echoes, appearing as faint, shimmering outlines of various objects, repeated their movements on a 3-minute loop. Analysis of the echoes showed they were not merely optical illusions, but a residual temporal signature from a parallel dimension.

ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Echo-17 does not appear to be hostile, but its very presence defies known physical laws. The echoes themselves have caused minor temporal disruption to nearby equipment. Further containment protocols are recommended. A perimeter has been established, and civilians are being rerouted away from the area under the guise of a scheduled seismic survey.
